This qualification is designed to develop a critical understanding of generic management skills for those planning to or working in the Health and Social care sector. This qualification delivers the skills and knowledge that meet the needs of managers on a domestic and international platform.
This is a stand-alone qualification but there are entry requirements.
Candidates who have passed any LMQ Level 5 Health and Social Care Diploma are eligible to take this qualification. Other applicants must have obtained one of the following:
A UK Degree or Overseas equivalent or other level 5 qualifications from another internationally recognised awarding body or approved Overseas Institutes of Higher Education
This qualification is equivalent to the following:

The successful candidates have wider opportunity to progress onto the higher-level qualifications including LMQ Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in health and Social Care Management or the they can progress into Masters degree in their relevant field. Click here to see the progression opportunities.

This qualification is expected to be delivered minimum of 12 months for full-time study. Centres should make sure the Total Qualification Times (TQM) or National Learning Hours (NLH) are covered as per the qualification requirements. This programme is flexible and delivered face-to-face, distance learning, through lectures, tutorials, seminars.
