
he International Foundation programme is designed for those who are seeking for an opportunity to gain entry and study Higher Education Qualifications in UK and overseas. This programme is aimed at speakers of English as a foreign language who want to improve their academic and general English Language and enhance their study skills and understanding in the field of Engineering at an appropriate level. This is necessary for successful study on a range of degree subjects related to Engineering and IT.
Student must have completed a GCSE Qualification and achieved a grade C or above in English and Maths subjects. It is expected that a student would normally have the maturity to undertake this programme at the age of 17.

The successful candidates have wider opportunity to progress onto the higher-level qualifications. As this qualification is in Level 3, the candidates are eligible to gain a direct entry into a Bachelor’s first year degree programmes. Click here to see the progression opportunities.

This qualification is expected to be delivered minimum of 12 months for full-time study. Centres should make sure the Total Qualification Times (TQM) or National Learning Hours (NLH) are covered as per the qualification requirements. This programme is flexible and delivered face-to-face, distance learning, through lectures, tutorials, seminars.
